The We Are America Project is a national project founded by Lowell high school teacher Jessica Lander and her former students to spark conversations about the many dimensions of American identity in classrooms across the country. The team collaborates, mentors, and supports teachers and young people across the country to explore and share their personal American identities. They publish their stories in books and in a growing online library. Jessica and her student co-founders will share stories about their national project and work with teachers across the country in this online event.
