Gary is determined to get a girlfriend, put his younger brothers in their place, and protect his image of the tough-guy. Following the advice of the neighborhood know-it-all, Gary sets out to get all these things and more. Follow him through the streets of Lowell in this nostalgic, coming of age collection of short stories.

About the author: Amy Reidy was born in Lowell, Massachusetts. Even though she currently lives in New Hampshire, she will always be a Lowell girl at heart.
She feels that she has been blessed with the world's greatest family and is grateful for her siblings, in-laws, friends, and dogs (R.I.P. Josie). She considers the health, happiness, and success of her children, their partners, her husband, and grandchildren among her greatest accomplishments in life.
Her best piece of advice is this: "it's easy to forget what's important in life...so don't!" Never give up and remember, it's never too late!
