About the Friends:

The Friends of the Pollard Memorial Library is a volunteer group dedicated to supporting the library and its programs. Our primary goal is to support the museum pass program, allowing library patrons to visit designated museums at reduced admission prices. We also sponsor various other programs at the library, such as author programs, genealogy workshops, and movie nights.

Our funding comes from membership dues, donations, book sales, bake sales, and other events, as well as from ongoing sales from our book cart (located in the library next to the circulation desk).

We are committed to supporting the library and the Lowell community. Currently we host an annual book sale, and we plan to add more outreach and membership events in the coming year. Are you interested in a summer garden tour, a fall apple-picking party, a winter bowling night, or a spring wine tasting? Let us know your thoughts. We welcome your input and look forward to the opportunity to get to know you better.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
