The Friends of the Library needs your
new or gently-used stuff!
- Why donate? The Friends of the Pollard Memorial Library (Lowell’s public library) will host
its popular annual Children’s Shopping Day on Saturday, November 24. During this highly anticipated event, children ages 4 to 14 shop for gifts on their own or with the help of friendly
library volunteers, who then help the young shoppers wrap and tag their treasures for friends and family. All proceeds support the library. - What's best to donate?
- Toys, LEGOs, DVDs, Knickknacks, Tools, gadgets, Sports memorabilia, Unopened puzzles and games, Small sports equipment, Men's ties, scarves, gloves, Women's scarves, jewelry, Children's books, Kids' electronics, Gifts for men or boys, Unopened craft gifts, Gift bags, tags, tissue paper
Where and when can I donate?
Drop off your donations at the library (401 Merrimack Street in Lowell), downstairs at the checkout desk, on Saturdays between 10 A.M. and 2 P.M. Donations are tax-deductible, so don't forget to ask for a Donated Goods receipt.
