The City of Lowell Employee Book Club is open to city employees who want to meet with other members of City departments and talk about both fiction and nonfiction books around a particular theme.

We are reading selections of the Lowell Offering, which may have inspired Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol. Talk with your fellow employees about the similarities and if you think that Lowell Mill Girls may have actually impacted this holiday classic.
