Join us for a special book talk by author Eleanor Dunfey-Freiburger on her book Counter Culture: Clams, Convents and a Circle of Global Citizens. The book traces the powerful legacy of The Dunfey family. With roots in Lowell's Acre neighborhood where they opened a variety store luncheonette which grew to a fried clam stand on Hampton Beach to a hotel empire. Book sales and signing to follow the talk.
